Our mission

Women deserve support that sees the whole person.

OETWA exists to help women move from trauma toward stability, confidence, opportunity, and lives shaped by their own choices.

Why this work matters

Recovery and independence belong in the same conversation.

Emotional wellbeing affects learning, work, relationships, and a person's sense of possibility. Practical challenges can also make healing harder. OETWA responds to both.

The approach begins with listening. It respects each woman's priorities and pace, then connects counseling with education, livelihood support, and community relationships where appropriate.

How we work

Four principles guide every step.

  1. 01

    Listen before responding

Support begins with a woman's own experience and priorities.

  2. 02

    Protect dignity

Respect, privacy, agency, and choice are never optional extras.

  3. 03

    Connect the journey

Healing, learning, and opportunity reinforce one another.

  4. 04

    Stay rooted locally

Community knowledge shapes what useful support looks like.
